They are some 190 wine growers who devote themselves today to the breeding of our high-class wines. The merlot largely dominating, brings roundness and smoothness. The Cabernet Franc gives to the wine its frame and a rich person bouquet; finally the Cabernet Sauvignon, less frequent offers velvety dresses and great possibilities of ageing. Combining tradition and modernity, each one knew to adapt the recent contributions of the wine appreciation to the heritage of the tradition, giving to the wine of Lalande de Pomerol a perfect balance.
