History of the property:
"Chagnasses" owes its name with the origin of the soil. Indeed Chagnasses "little oak" evoke nature at the past centuries. But you reassure the use of oak in the growing up of wines is reasonable to preserve the flavours of red fruits characteristic of the Domaine les Chagnasses.
This family exploitation was rested by Jean Seynat 40 years ago. In 1992, his son-in-law George Abécassis decides to take again the torch after a wine appreciation formation and vine growing in the Lycée agricole de Montagne St Emilion.
A true passion animates the family around this property of 2 hectares in the depth of the so prestigious vineyard of Lalande de Pomerol. Enthralling trade where the wine-grower must control the work of the vine as well as the art of the wine making, and until the marketing of produced nectar, he will be a master of his choices to work out the best for you.
